Congregation for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People
Caring for the spiritual and human needs of these itinerant people.
The vast and diverse group that is commonly known as Gypsies has often suffered from persecution and marginalisation. New threats of secularisation and the in-roads into the Gypsy community made by sects give a special urgency to a renewed pastoral concern for these people. This Document marks a key moment in the history of evangelisation and human promotion of Gypsies.
